A Brief History of Supers

The first super powered individuals begun to emerge into the world just before the first world war, no one knew where they came from or why it happened.

In fact as far as supers themselves knew, each of their origins was entirely unrelated to any other.

The supers were roughly split in equal portions, those that chose to use their abilities for good and those who used them for self gain.

Starting around 1925 stories started circulating about heroes and villains mysteriously disapearing, one day they were there and the next they were gone, and no one seemed to know why.

By 1930 all remaining powered individuals seemed to have disappeared and by current times, many people have begun to regard the stories about supers as a hoax.

Recently, in the last 18 months leading up to the start of 1959, stories of supers returning have started to circulate, some even being identified in mass media and just like in the early 1900s no one seems to know why it’s happening.
