The roll is modified by the Presence Attack Modifiers Table (h2.137).

Likely modifiers

• +1d6 Target is surprised
• +1d6 Exhibiting Power
• +1d6 to +3d6 Violent Action
• +1d6 to +3d6 Soliliquy

Effects of Attack (h2.137)

Compare the attack to the targets PRE

• GTE - attacker acts first in segment
• +10 - attacker acts first in segment, target only takes 1/2 phase action
• +20 - target does not act for 1 full phase
• +30 - target is cowed, they may surrender, run away or faint.
